The Right Way to Install Stairway Chandelier

Jul 21st

Stairway chandelier – Many extension rods are in the market to help you achieve chandeliers to make the first two tasks, but if you need full access to a chandelier, you need to take you up to the roof level. First, measure the height of your chandelier from the ground. Subtract your height from your feet to your armpits from this measurement to obtain the best platform height for your scaffold. Measure your steps on the chandelier hanging over them.

Contact a facility that rents scaffolding. If you need a scaffold that spans the stairs, let rental agent know as this may require special pieces. Turn off the power to your chandelier on the switch before attempting to do any work on it. Assemble the stand in your stairway chandelier according to kit instructions.

Climb on the top platform when the first level of the scaffolding installed – including any braces – and have a helper hand next set pieces up to you while a second helper stabilize the base of the scaffold. Build additional layers until you have a platform at the height you need to access your stairway chandelier. Install guardrails around this platform, even if you are comfortable with heights. When this is done, you can start working on your chandelier.
