Pebble tile shower floor spread a uniform layer of mortar over the waterproofing membrane with 1/4 inch notched trowel, starting at the corner of the top of the shower. Make sure your work area is no larger than 3 by 3 feet. Press the river pebble tiles in the mortar, additional interlocking tiles like a puzzle. Strike up the river pebble tiles with a rubber trowel to fix them in the mortar. Cut through the mesh of the tiles to fit into corners or edges with a sharp knife.
