Rod pocket door panel – A French door is a door inlaid with diamonds from top to bottom. It requires the use of rod – pocket curtains to provide privacy. Rod – pocket curtains are those of the cafe window frame rods sewn into pockets at top and bottom, so you can push the curtain a little one way or the other. Cafe frame rods attach to the wooden frame of a French door panel at top and bottom.

They are slightly larger than typical sash rods; they keep the curtains an inch or so away from the glass instead of against it as a sash pole would. Install rod pocket door panel with accompanying hardware. Firstly, you must measure the door panel and the curtain to be sure the rod pocket at the top and bottom of the curtain falls at the right place at the door.

Then, select the location where you want to install the hardware, both top and bottom, with a pencil. Placing hardware an inch or two above and outside the glass panels of the door. Use a drill to make pilot holes in the door of the places you have marked. Attach drapery hardware using a screwdriver or hammer, as the hardware required. Last, the French rod pocket door panel curtains feed on bars top and bottom, and snap the bars onto the hardware.
